It started with an Idea and the belief in SME.

In 2016, Ben James was unhappy with what the financial lending market had to offer. He had been working in the financial industry all his life and saw that some important customer needs just couldn’t be met - especially when it came to small and medium sized businesses. Many of them had the potential to grow, but didn’t have access to the relevant working capital. Due to a capital-intensive business model, they were declined by banks and unsatisfied with what other lenders had to offer. This is how TP24 came to life.

We want to solve today's biggest SME lending challenges by offering flexible funding solutions that help them grow without the hassle of traditional credit providers. Headed by Ben James:
Ben is founder and CEO of TP24. Prior to TP24, he spent 18 years in banking and insurance, with a particular expertise in building and growing new income streams in both B2C and B2B lending sectors.

Ben James

Ben James is the founder and Executive Chairman of TP24, a Zurich-based fintech company specializing in innovative business finance solutions. With over 20 years of experience in banking, including 15 years at GE Capital, Ben has a strong background in sales, operations, marketing, insurance and capital markets. Recognizing a gap in the market for flexible SME lending solutions, Ben founded TP24 to offer innovative credit products tailored to business needs. Under his leadership, TP24 has expanded across Switzerland, Australia, UK and Asia, providing dynamic credit lines that grow with receivables.

Wendy Edwards

Wendy is working at Avaloq in various risk-related roles for almost 6 years. Prior to Avaloq, she spent 17 years with Falcon Private Bank (previously AIG Private Bank) in various finance and strategy roles, after starting her career at Deloitte Australia back in 1990. She holds a degree from Monash University and qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia in 1993.

Fiachre O'Neill

With over three decades of expertise in finance, risk, and compliance, Fiachre has navigated the dynamic landscapes of global finance, cutting-edge technology, and the fast-paced FMCG sector. His distinguished career includes high-impact leadership roles, most recently serving as SVP & Group Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at PayPal, where he shaped the company's global risk and regulatory strategies.

Simon Lee

Simon Lee, is Chairman of Brit Syndicates Ltd and AMI listed PPHC Inc. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Fairfax International (Barbados) Ltd and President of Hospice in the Weald. He chairs the Advisory Board of Perfect Cellar. Simon was Group Chief Executive of RSA Insurance Group plc. Before that, he served as Main Board Director and Chief Executive of RSA's International businesses.

Herman Klein Wassink

Herman brings a wealth of experience in financial services, serving as senior advisor and (advisory) board member for leading firms, including HBC, GBSAPRI, FTI Consulting, Deutsche Credit Capital Partners and various private equity firms. His long tenure as a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and other roles at Partners Group and Morgan Stanley have resulted in a deep understanding of public and private markets and the financial services industry. He studied finance at Erasmus University in Rotterdam and New York University.
